214 MPs voted for the corresponding decision, out of the minimum required 226.
MP from the Holos faction, Yaroslav Zhelezniak, announced this in his Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Vereshchuk is holding the post of Vice Prime Minister - Minister for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories from November 2021.
From July 2019 to November 2021, she was a member of the Verkhovna Rada from Servant of the People.
In autumn 2020, she participated in the mayoral elections of Kyiv on behalf of this party, where she took 3rd place in the 1st round.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on September 3, Vice Prime Minister - Minister for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories Iryna Vereshchuk and Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Olha Stefanishyna submitted their resignations to the Verkhovna Rada.
