Ukrgasbank will provide Ukrnafta, a major oil production company, with a loan in the amount of UAH 4 billion for the company's implementation of an investment program that includes, in particular, increasing oil and gas production and implementing cogeneration projects.
This is stated in the company's message, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"With the funds raised, it is planned to finance drilling programs and intensification of production, construction of modern gas piston stations. Thank you to our reliable partner Ukrgasbank for the support and trust," stressed the director of Ukrnafta Serhii Koretskyi.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Ukrnafta plans to build 1,000 MW of gas generation at a cost of USD 1 billion in 3 years.
In 2023, Ukrnafta increased production of oil with condensate by 3% to 1.41 million tons compared to 2022.
In November 2022, the shares of Motor Sich, Ukrnafta, AvtoKrAZ, Ukrtatnafta, and Zaporizhtransformator (ZTR) were alienated into state ownership for the period of martial law.
After its completion, the assets may be returned to their owners or their value may be reimbursed.
