Satellite images with consequences of AFU attack on Kavkaz port in Kerch Strait appear

On August 23, Planet Labs satellite images recorded the results of the strike by the Defense Forces of Ukraine on the port of Kavkaz in the Kerch Strait, as a result of which the russian occupiers' railway ferry Conro Trader sank on August 22.

The corresponding pictures are available at the disposal of the Skhemy (Schemes), a project of Radio Svoboda.

So, the photos show a destroyed ferry and several small vessels standing nearby, which could also have been damaged as a result of the attack on the Kavkaz port, located in the Krasnodar Krai of the russian federation.

In addition, it is indicated that the satellite also recorded damaged infrastructure. In particular, the part of the railway track leading to the water was affected. The pictures also show signs of a fire - fire engines are parked near the shore.

Recall that on August 22, the russian federation announced that the Conro Trader ferry sank in the port of Kavkaz after an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, today, August 23, the spokesman of the Navy, Dmytro Pletenchuk, confirmed that the railway ferry Conro Trader of the russian occupiers, which sank on August 22 in the port of Kavkaz in the Krasnodar Krai of the aggressor country of the russian federation, was destroyed by the Ukrainian Navy.

Pletenchuk calls the "double bonus" of this operation the fact that, as a result of the attack, the operation of the russian port is partially blocked - until the affected ship is removed from the berth.
