Kerosene tanks may explode at Rostov oil depot. Explosion may surpass all previous ones – russian media

At the oil depot in the city of Proletarsk, Rostov Oblast, the fire came close to the kerosene tanks. In the case of their depressurization, an explosion is possible, which will surpass all previous ones in power.

The local Telegram channel "Eto Rostov Novosti" (It is Rostov news) reported this on Thursday, August 22.

"Kerosene tanks can explode at the oil depot in Proletarsk! This is many times more dangerous. The fire came close to the kerosene tanks. If they are depressurized, then an explosion can occur, which will surpass all previous ones in terms of power," the message says.

At the same time, the resource of the aggressor country is complaining that the Ministry of Emergency Situations for some reason keeps the situation quiet and does not provide any details from the very beginning of the fire at the oil depot.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of August 17-18, Ukrainian drones attacked Proletarsk, Rostov Oblast, as a result of which a fire broke out at a local oil depot.

Later, the General Staff of the Armed Forces clarified that the "Kavkaz" factory in Proletarsk was hit, where oil and oil products were stored, which, in particular, were supplied to the army of the russian invaders.

On August 20, it became known that for the second day, russian firefighters could not put out the fire at the oil depot in the city of Proletarsk after an attack by Ukrainian drones.
