As of the morning of August 22, the concentration of chlorine and hydrochloric acid in the air is below normal in the city of Ternopil, after the indicators increased due to the russian strike on August 20, which caused a fuel and lubricant material fire. There is no threat to health.

Thus, it is indicated that on the morning of August 22, employees of the Ternopil Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine conducted air quality measurements in various areas of Ternopil.
"As of 8:00 a.m., the concentrations of chlorine and hydrochloric acid in the air are below the norm. There is no threat to the lives and health of Ternopil residents," the report said.

A fire occurred as a result of an enemy object hitting one of the tanks where fuel and lubricants were stored. The State Emergency Service noted that during the day "this event will be completely liquidated." In addition, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention monitors air and water quality.
Emergency workers also showed the fire raging as a result of the russian attack on Ternopil.
