At least 3 military airplanes destroyed at Savasleyka airfield – media

The result of the attack by Ukrainian drones on the russian military airfield Savasleyka in the Nizhny Novgorod Oblast was the destruction and damage of a MIG-31K/I aircraft and an IL-76 aircraft.

So, on August 16, there was an attack on the airfield, as a result of which a MIG-31K/I aircraft and two IL-76 aircraft were destroyed. Another 5, probably MIG-31K/I, were damaged.

However, a few days earlier, on August 13, there was another strike, when drones hit a warehouse with fuel and lubricants and a MIG-31K/I aircraft. At the time of the attack, there were 11 MIG-31K/I aircraft, an Il-76 aircraft, five Mi-8 and Mi-24 helicopters at the airfield. The next day, propagandists also reported about the attack on Savasleyka.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of August 14, explosions rang out at the Savasleyka air base in the Nizhny Novgorod Oblast of russia. NASA satellites recorded a fire on the territory of the airfield.

Previously, operatives and analysts of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine of Ukraine previously identified 29 people of the command, flight and technical staff of the 44th separate long-range aviation regiment of the Air Force of the Aerospace Forces of the russian Armed Forces, which is shelling Ukraine with Kinzhals.
