Reserve Askania-Nova no longer exists, it has been looted - Regional Military Administration

The russian occupiers looted the Askania-Nova nature reserve in the Kherson Region, so it actually no longer exists.

Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, stated this in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.

Prokudin confirmed the information that the russian occupiers hunted the animals of the reserve in the Kherson Region and destroyed it.

"Yes, it's true, they are destroying it. In other words, we can say that the reserve is no longer there. They robbed it thoroughly," the head of the Regional Military Administration emphasized.

According to the latest information, Prokudin noted, russians are taking animals to Crimea and russia.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the russians have already stolen animals from the Askania-Nova nature reserve more than once.

So, on June 28, it became known that 12 Chapman's zebras were sent from the Askania-Nova Biosphere Reserve in the Kherson Region to the Taigan Safari Park in Crimea.

The russian occupiers took animals listed in the Red Book from the Askania-Nova Biosphere Reserve of the Kherson Region under the guise of an exchange.
