The invaders of the aggressor country of the russian federation have intensified the construction of fortifications near the Ukrainian border, in particular in the areas of the Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv Regions.
Andrii Demchenko, the spokesman of the State Border Guard Service, announced this on the air of the telethon.
"Russia is more actively building and erecting fortifications near our border. On the border with Belarus, some engineering activities could also be seen, but again, Russia is more active here, as in the direction of the Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv Regions," the spokesman said.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the occupiers are transferring rear units and reserves from Ukraine to the Kursk Oblast.
Recall that it was previously reported that the russian invaders do not have the resources to conduct a large-scale offensive in the south of Ukraine.
On August 13, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that the Ukrainian military occupied 74 settlements in the Kursk Oblast.
