The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi reported this to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Tuesday, August 13.

"Groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct operations on the territory of the Kursk Oblast. Today, our troops advanced in separate directions from 1 to 3 km, took control over 40 square km of territory. And today 74 points are under our control. Battles are being conducted along the entire front line. The situation, despite the high intensity of hostilities, is under control. We are continuing the operation," said Syrskyi.

Zelenskyy thanked the Ukrainian military for their service and for replenishing the exchange fund. The President also stated that inspections and stabilization measures are currently being carried out in the liberated territories. The development of humanitarian solutions for them also continues.
