Negative balance of foreign trade in goods worsens by USD 2,669 million to USD 13,606.4 million over H1, 2024

In January-June 2024, the imports of goods exceeded exports by USD 13,606.4 million.

The State Statistics Service has said this in a statement, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

In January-June 2024, the negative balance of trade in goods worsened by USD 2,669 million year over year (negative balance in January-June 2023 was USD 10,937.4 million).

In January-June 2024, Ukraine exported goods for USD 19,598.4 million, up 0.3% year over year.

In January-June 2024, Ukraine imported goods for USD 33,204.8 million, up 9.0% year over year.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in January-May 2024, the imports of goods exceeded exports by USD 10,715.8 million.

In 2023, the imports of goods exceeded exports by USD 27,376.2 million.

In 2023, the negative balance of trade in goods worsened by USD 16,216.1 million year over year (negative balance in 2022 was USD 11,160.1 million).
