Defense forces of Ukraine are using robot dogs to detect russian invaders and explosive objects in Donbas.
This was reported by the German publication Bild.
These robot dogs with cameras make their way through trenches and bushes - wherever Ukrainian soldiers should not expose themselves to unnecessary danger. They replace the military in particularly dangerous places - they scout the surroundings, detect mine traps and record the movements of the russian occupiers. Robots are guided by operators. Currently, there are more than 30 such "dogs" in Donbas.
"And if the remotely controlled quadrupeds end up in the hands of the russians, all data can be deleted with one click of a button. The cost of the robot - from EUR 4,000 to EUR 8,000 - is nothing compared to a human life," the article says.

These robot dogs are almost impossible to detect, as they are able to move silently within a radius of 3.5 km for 5 hours. The publication writes that the first to test the robot dogs were the fighters of the 28th brigade.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the losses of personnel of the russian occupiers for August 13 increased by 1,240 to 594,000 people.
On August 13, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, announced that during the offensive, the Ukrainian military occupied 74 settlements in the Kursk Oblast.
