The investigation of the Economic Security Bureau (ESB) will assess the actions of officials of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) and the Deposit Guarantee Fund (DGF) in the case against businessman Ihor Kolomoiskyi.
This is stated in court documents, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The ESB investigation appealed to the court with a request to extend the term of the investigation of the case against Kolomoiskyi, as it was unable to complete a number of investigative and procedural actions until now.
\Within the framework of the investigation, the investigation seeks to provide a legal assessment of the actions of officials of PJSC CB "PRIVATBANK", the National Bank of Ukraine, and the Deposit Guarantee Fund, who, by virtue of their official duties, were involved in the commission of certain actions that constitute the content of the suspicion served to Kolomoiskyi.
The ESB also requested assistance in the case from the competent authorities of the USA, France, Great Britain, Switzerland, Cyprus and Israel.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the ESB detectives admitted that they had difficulties with the investigation of the case against Kolomoiskyi. The Kyiv Court of Appeal gave permission to place Ihor Kolomoiskyi in a medical institution outside the SSU pre-trial detention center.
