The Ukrainian flag flies on the Kinburn Spit. Special agents of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine installed it between the Dnieper-Buh Estuary and the Black Sea during a raid on August 9 on the territory temporarily occupied by russia.
The head of the Center for Countering Disinformation Andrii Kovalenko has announced this on Telegram.
Kovalenko showed a video from a drone showing the raised flag and noted that the footage was taken on August 11.
Previously, on August 10, the Defense Intelligence on its Facebook page reported on the raid that took place on August 9, 2024. During it, six units of enemy armored vehicles were destroyed and "about three dozen invaders" were eliminated.
"The amphibious operation was carried out by the units Khymera, Aratta, Stuhna, Parahon, Siberian Battalion, Teror as part of the Tymur special unit of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine with the support of the Naval Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and in cooperation with other components of the Security and Defense Forces of the state," noted the State Security Service, informing that the flag of the Defense Intelligence was installed near the russian position "Suvorov monument".
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, special forces of the Defense Intelligence carried out a landing operation on the occupied Tendra Spit.
