Russian attack on Kostiantynivka: fire in shopping center extinguished, 10 killed and 35 wounded reported

As a result of the russian attack on Kostiantynivka, Donetsk Region, on August 9, 10 killed and 35 wounded people are currently known. Firefighters put out the fire in the shopping center.

This was announced by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Ihor Klymenko.

Thus, firefighters extinguished a fire in a shopping center with an area of ​​1,000 square meters. Operational services continue to work on the spot: the State Emergency Service, the police with the involvement of a paramedic unit.

It is reported that a total of 45 people were wounded as a result of the russian shelling: 10 were killed, and another 35 were wounded.

In addition, residential buildings, shops, and more than a dozen cars were damaged.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the afternoon of August 9, russian troops attacked Kostiantynivka, Donetsk Region. Locals report shelling of the supermarket area, casualties and injuries, as well as a fire at the site of the hit. In particular, it was indicated that the russians hit Ekomarket.

The authorities reported that as a result of russian shelling in Kostiantynivka, Donetsk Region, two people were killed, and the number of injured was 17. Currently, the number of killed and injured has increased.
