Starting today, the Army+ application for the military starts operating, now the military, in particular, can submit electronic reports.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this on his Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"Today, we are taking another step towards the modernity and efficiency of the Ukrainian army. What strengthens our entire army, because it strengthens every commander and later every soldier. From now on, the Army+ application will work. It will start with basic functions. And we will fill it with new ones," he said.
Zelenskyy noted that the purpose of this application is to free the Ukrainian army from tedious paperwork.
"So that commanders and soldiers don't waste their time on outdated and unnecessary bureaucracy and filling out papers. We'll start with reports - first electronic reports - and continue with bypass and all other papers," he said.
During the presentation of the application, Zelenskyy said that the Army ID function is also available in it - a unique ID number of a military person, thanks to which they can send reports for signature, and surveys to see the real situation with the provision of military units.
According to him, at the next stages of the development of Army+, other functions should appear in the application, which will help Ukrainian soldiers to realize all the necessary social and communicative needs in the service. In particular, the application will have courses and training programs.
Zelenskyy also noted that in Army+ there will be reliable communication between soldiers - secure chats.
The President addressed all the military commanders of the Defense and Security Forces of Ukraine and emphasized that he is counting on them to help implement changes.
In turn, the Ministry of Defense reported on the Telegram channel that from today the Army+ application is available in the App Store and Google Play.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on May 17, the Ministry of Defense announced the launch of a mobile application for persons liable for military service, conscripts and reservists called Reserve+.
