In July 2024, sales of new commercial vehicles decreased by 2% month over month to 956 units.
This follows from a statement by the Ukravtoprom association, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Compared to June, the sales of commercial vehicles decreased by 20%.
Among new commercial vehicles, Renault vehicles were in the greatest demand in July - 227 registered trucks.
Scania commercial vehicles are in second place (100 registered trucks), Citroen vehicles are in third place (78 trucks), MAN vehicles are in fourth place (69 trucks), and Volvo is fifth (66 trucks).
Since the beginning of the year, sales of new trucks and special vehicles amounted to 7,200 new vehicles, which is 17% more than in the same period last year.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in June 2024, sales of new commercial vehicles increased by 12% month over month to 1,198 units.
In 2023, the sale of new commercial vehicles increased by 65% to 11,300 units year over year.
