Ukrnafta appoints 1 more supervisory board member

The shareholders of Ukrnafta, the largest oil production company, have appointed Kateryna Kuznetsova as an independent member of the supervisory board.

The company has said this in a statement, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

Thus, according to the announcement, the full composition of the supervisory board was elected in Ukrnafta.

"Kateryna Kuznetsova is an independent director (member). More than 25 years of experience in international audit companies - worked her way from a junior consultant to a senior manager at ERNST & YOUNG (Australia); worked as a general manager of the fund department of the SingTel Optus corporate center (the 2nd telecommunications operator in Australia); she was a director of the capital markets group at PwC (the United Kingdom)," the report says.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in March Ukrnafta appointed a new member of the supervisory board, which included three independent members and two representatives of shareholders - the Ministry of Defense and Naftogaz.

The company's shareholders will be represented by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Defense Liudmyla Darahan, from Naftogaz – by Roza Tapanova, who was also a state representative in the previous supervisory board of Ukrnafta.
