In January-July 2024, compared to the same period last year, the Ukrgasvydobuvannia and Ukrnafta companies, which are part of the Naftogaz group, increased production of commercial gas by 7% to 8.6 billion cubic meters.
This is stated in the message of the group, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"Companies of the group are increasing gas production due to the launch of new highly productive wells, the introduction of new technologies and effective work with the old fund. The planned indicators have been exceeded by 2%. The work does not stop not only in the central and western regions, but also in the eastern ones - despite all the military challenges," noted the head, Oleksii Chernyshov.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Naftogaz plans to produce 15 billion cubic meters of gas in 2024 at the expense of the Ukrgasvydobuvannia and Ukrnafta companies.
In 2023, Ukrgasvydobuvannia produced 13.5 billion cubic meters of gas, and Ukrnafta increased gas production by 6% to 1.097 billion cubic meters.
