Over the past day, Ukrainian defenders destroyed 1,150 russian invaders, the total number of enemy personnel losses increased to 582,910. In addition, the russians lost 5 tanks, three air defense systems and 59 artillery systems.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Thus, the total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022 to August 04, 2024 approximately amounted to:
- personnel - about 582,910 (+1,150) persons,
- tanks - 8,411 (+5) units,
- armored fighting vehicles - 16,255 (+17) units,
- artillery systems - 16,276 (+59) units,
- MLRS - 1,138 (+3) units,
- air defense equipment - 911 (+3) units,
- aircraft - 363 (+0) units,
- helicopters - 326 (+0) units,
- UAV of operational-tactical level - 13,103 (+41),
- cruise missiles - 2,412 (+2),
- ships/boats - 28 (+0) units,
- submarines - 1 (+0) units,
- automotive equipment and tank trucks - 22,006 (+80) units,
- special equipment - 2,734 (+11).

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, 140 combat clashes were recorded during the past 24 hours. The hottest situation remains in the Pokrovsk Axis. In addition, the russian occupiers were active in the Toretsk and Kupyansk Axes.
Also, on the night of August 4, the russian occupiers attacked Ukraine with two S-300 missiles, two Kh-59 and five Shaheds. Air defense forces destroyed all kamikaze drones launched by the enemy.
