During the past 24 hours, 140 combat clashes were recorded. The hottest situation remains in the Pokrovsk Axis. In addition, the russian occupiers were active in the Toretsk and Kupyansk Axes.
This is stated in the summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
So, according to detailed information, yesterday the enemy hit the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas with four missile strikes using six missiles, as well as 49 airstrikes, dropping 62 guided aerial bombs. In addition, it fired more than 5,100 shells, 106 of them from MLRS.
Six battles were fought in the Kharkiv Axis. The Defense Forces repelled enemy assaults near Tykhe, Hlyboke and Vovchansk.
In the Kupyansk Axis, 19 combat clashes took place, in particular, near Synkivka, Kolesnykivka, Novoosynove, Hlushkivka, Andriyivka, Berestove, Stelmakhivka, and Petropavlivka.
In the Lyman Axis, the enemy attacked eight times near Makiyivka, Nevske, and Terny.
In the Siversk Axis, Ukrainian defenders repelled the assaults of the russian invaders near Verkhniokamyanske, Ivano-Daryivka, Vyimka, Pereyizne, and Spirne.
In the Kramatorsk Axis, 12 battles were fought in the areas of Vasiukivka, Chasiv Yar and Andriyivka.
In the Toretsk Axis, 20 combat clashes took place near Pivnichne, New York, Toretsk, and Zalizne.
In the Pokrovsk Axis, our defenders repelled 45 assaults in the areas of Panteleymonivka, Novooleksandrivka, Vozdvyzhenka, Zhelanne, Novoselivka Persha, Kalynove, Mezhove, Karlivka, Svyrydonivka, Skuchne, Ivanivka, and Yasnobrodivka settlements.
In the Kurakhove Axis, the Defense Forces stopped 11 attacks near Krasnohorivka, Heorhiyivka, Panteleymonivka, Kostiantynivka, and Paraskoviyivka, where the enemy tried to break through the defenses of our troops.
In the Vremivka Axis, russian troops carried out seven assaults near Vodiane, Kostiantynivka and Rozdolne.
In the Orikhiv Axis, two enemy offensives near Robotyne were unsuccessful.
In the Huliaipole and Prydniprovsk Axes, the situation has not changed much. No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissia Axes.
It is reported that the enemy maintains a military presence on the border with the Chernihiv and Sumy Regions, carries out mortar and artillery attacks on populated areas from the territory of the russian federation, and increases the density of mine and explosive barriers along the state border of Ukraine.
At the same time, Ukrainian soldiers continue to actively inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, exhausting the enemy along the entire line of battle.
In addition, yesterday the aviation and missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces carried out five strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel and anti-aircraft defenses of the enemy, and also hit the control post, five air defense vehicles, a radar station, a warehouse and another important object of occupiers.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on August 3, the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck an enemy submarine and S-400 anti-aircraft missile system in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
