Ukraine will attract EUR 50 million in support from the European Union for the repair and development of port infrastructure.
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced this at a government meeting, the Ukrainian News agency reports
In turn, the representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk, announced that the project of additional agreement No. 1 between the Government of Ukraine and the European Commission to the agreement on financing the measure "Support to Ukraine's fast recovery (State and Resilience Building Contract)" was approved.
"The additional agreement provides for the allocation by the EU of additional funding to the state budget of Ukraine in the amount of EUR 50 million for the repair and improvement of the port infrastructure through the redistribution of funds from the measure "Ukraine Recovery and Reform Architecture" for additional funding of the measure "Support to Ukraine's fast recovery (State and Resilience Building Contract)", he said.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, 60 million tons of goods were exported through the Ukrainian sea corridor.
