Factory in russia’s Yekaterinburg producing control systems for defense industry caught fire

In the russian city of Yekaterinburg, one of the largest factories that produce automation systems for the defense complex caught fire. The fire covered an area of ​​1,000 square meters.

The RIA Novosti propaganda news agency reports this.

The fire broke out at the Academician N. A. Semikhatov Research and Production Association of Automation plant in one of the buildings of the enterprise, which housed chemical products.

The cause of the fire is currently unknown. There is currently no information about the victims. However, the published footage shows a huge column of smoke and fire that has engulfed the roof of the building in several places.

Later it became known that the fire spread to another building of the plant.

The Academician N. A. Semikhatov Research and Production Association of Automation is a broad-based company specializing in the development and production of control systems and automation tools. The main products are control systems for sea-based and mine-based intercontinental ballistic missiles.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of July 30, a fire broke out at the oil depot "Logistics Center No. 43" in the village of Vozy, Kursk Region of the russian federation. The fire started after an attack by the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
