Satellite images of consequences of AFU attack on Saky airfield in Crimea appeared

Satellite images have captured dark spots on the territory of the Saky airfield in the temporarily occupied Crimea after the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck it on the night of July 26.

The relevant pictures are available at the disposal of Schemes (a Radio Liberty project).

Thus, it is indicated, in the pictures for July 28, it is clear that on one of the parts of the airfield where the Su-30 aircraft were based, dark spots appeared, which may indicate a fire and/or explosions.

It is noted that currently the resolution of the satellite image does not allow to fully assess the consequences of this attack.

It will be recalled that the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that on the night of July 26, the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck the Saky airfield in the temporarily occupied Crimea, which was used by the russian federation for air attacks. Information about the consequences was clarified.

At that time, the Crimean pro-Ukrainian Telegram channel Crimean Wind announced that as a result of an air attack in the temporarily occupied Crimea, the Saky military airfield in Novofedorivka caught fire, and during the night the detonation of ammunition was heard.
