DTEK plans to restore 60-70% of generation lost due to russian shelling by October

DTEK Energy Holding plans to return to operation 60-70% of the generation it had before the massive russian shelling began in March of this year, but on the condition that there will be no new shelling.

Forbes Ukraine writes about this with reference to the speech of the executive director of DTEK Dmytro Sakharuk at the forum "The future of Ukrainian energy. Dialogues with NV".

He estimates current recovery needs at USD 350-400 million.

At the same time, the company plans to carry out the restoration at its own expense, as well as at the expense of old equipment, which will be removed from stations in Europe.
