The Cabinet of Ministers allowed to reserve beneficial owners of critical infrastructure enterprises and members of supervisory boards with an annual income of at least UAH 200 million from mobilization in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This is evidenced by the procedure for reservation of those liable for military service during martial law, which was approved by government resolution No. 76 of January 27, 2023 (as amended by the Cabinet of Ministers resolution No. 650 of June 5, 2024), Ukrainian News Agency reports.
According to the resolution, all beneficial owners of all enterprises recognized as critical for defense and the economy by any of the departments - from the Ministry of Defense to the Ministry of Digital Transformation - are subject to reservation, and all members of the supervisory boards of such enterprises are automatically subject to reservation, if they meet the criteria for the size of assets.
Members of supervisory boards of economically important enterprises whose assets exceed UAH 2 billion or whose annual net income exceeds UAH 1.5 billion are also subject to reservation.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the salary of members of the supervisory board of Ukrenergo in June amounted to UAH 1.4 million. In 2023, Ukrzaliznytsia increased payments to Leshchenko, a member of the supervisory board, by 6% to UAH 244,000 per month.
The members of the supervisory board of Oschadbank, Rodnianskyi and Pashko, each received almost UAH 5 million in salary from the beginning of 2024. The board of Ukreximbank received salaries from UAH 766,000 to UAH 1.3 million in May.
