The total amount of wages of six supervisory board members of the Ukrenergo national energy company amounted to UAH 1.439 million in June.
This follows from a statement by the company, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Supervisory board members Yurii Boiko, Yurii Tokarskyi, and Oleksandr Baraniuk each received UAH 232,039 in salary in June.
Payments to the supervisory board chairperson, Daniel Dobbeni, and supervisory board members of the Roman Pionkovski and Peder Andreasen were not made in June due to unresolved issues with banking institutions regarding payments in foreign currency.
At the same time, Dobbeni will actually receive UAH 278.447 million in salary for June, and Pionkovski and Andreasen – UAH 232.039 each.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Ukrenergo board members received UAH 1.7 million in salary in June.
Ukrenergo ended 2023 with a profit of UAH 400 million.
Ukrenergo carries out dispatching of the energy system of Ukraine and transfers electricity from power plants to the networks of energy supply companies.
In addition, the company is entrusted with the functions of the organizer of auctions regarding access to the crossing of interstate power transmission lines for the export of electricity.
