On July 4, according to data as of 10 p.m., 130 combat clashes took place at the front, the largest number being on the Pokrovske (33) and Toretsk (18) Axes.
This follows from a statement by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) posted on its Facebook page, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"Since the beginning of the day, 130 combat clashes have taken place. The russian invaders launched one missile attack on the territory of Ukraine, 38 airstrikes using 76 anti-aircraft missiles, and also used 473 kamikaze drones," the message says.
According to the General Staff, at 10 p.m., the enemy also fired more than 2,800 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas using various types of weapons.
On the Kharkiv Axis, the occupiers, with the support of aviation, carried out 18 attacks near Sotnytskyi Kozachok, Hlyboke, Lyptsi, and Vovchansk.
According to preliminary information, since the beginning of the day, the enemy's losses amounted to 128 dead and wounded; one artillery system, two tanks, six BBMs, and six cars were destroyed, 43 personnel shelters and one ammunition storage place were damaged.
On the Kupiyansk Axis, the enemy attacked Ukrainian military positions four times in the areas of Synkivka, Stelmakhivka, and Novoselivka without success.
On the Lyman Axis, the russian invaders tried to advance 14 times near Hrekivka, Makiyivka, and Terny.
On the Siversk Axis, the enemy carried out offensive actions eight times in the areas of Bilohorivka, Verkhniokamiyanske, and Vyimka.
On the Kramatorsk Axis, the occupiers carried out 14 assaults in the districts of Kalynivka, Hryhorivka, and Klishchiyivka.
On the Toretsk Axis, the occupiers unsuccessfully attacked 18 times near North, Toretsk, and Niu York.
On the Pokrovske Axis, the number of skirmishes has increased to 33; the invaders continue to attack the battle formations of the defenders of Ukraine near Novooleksandrivka, Vozdvyzhenka, Kalinovy, Prohres, Lozuvatka, Novoselivka Persha, Yevhenivka, and Yasnobrodivka. The previous losses of the aggressor here were 234 occupiers killed and wounded, and one tank and one armored combat vehicle were also destroyed.
On the Kurakhove Axis, at 10 p.m. ten combat clashes took place in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Nevelske, and Paraskoviyivka settlements.
On the Vremivka Axis, the aggressor stormed seven times in the Vodiane and Makarivka Districts. Two enemy attacks took place on the Orikhiv Axis in the areas of Mala Tokmachka and Robotyne.
On the Dnipro Axis, two enemy attempts to capture AFU positions in the Krynky area failed.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on July 3, a total of 135 combat clashes took place at the front during the day, the largest number - on the Pokrovske, Lyman, and Toretsk Axes.
