PFTS has summarized the first results of currency swaps trading on PFTS.
This is stated in the message of the exchange, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
PFTS informs that from June 17, 2024, trading in currency swaps began in the PFTS trading system.
The following currency swaps are allowed for trading:
- US dollar - Ukrainian hryvnia (ticker: USDUAH);
- euro - Ukrainian hryvnia (ticker: EURUAH).
In June, deals were concluded exclusively with currency swaps "US dollar - Ukrainian hryvnia" (ticker: USDUAH).
The total volume of trades in the specified swaps amounted to UAH 1.8 billion, or 4.3% of the total volume of PFTS trades.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in May 2024 the total volume of trades on the PFTS amounted to UAH 44 billion (106% of the previous month's level), or 60% of the total volume of trades by securities trading organizers in Ukraine.
