Poland does not forbid Ukraine to hit russia with its weapons - Defense Ministry

Poland does not prohibit Ukraine from using the transferred weapons to attack the aggressor country of the russian federation.

Deputy Minister of Defense of Poland Cezary Tomczyk said this in an interview with Radio ZET.

Answering the question whether Polish military equipment transferred to Ukraine can be used on the territory of russia, Tomczyk noted that the Ukrainians "can fight as they want."

"We decided to help Ukraine in the conflict, Ukraine was brutally attacked, so it has the right to defend itself as it deems necessary," Tomczyk emphasized.

"Poland does not apply restrictions when it comes to the use of Polish weapons by Ukrainians," he added.

In his opinion, Western countries should also remove restrictions on the use of weapons on russian territory, if any.

Tomczyk said that Poland has already handed over 44 batches of aid to Ukraine and is preparing the 45th.

"In general, these are donations at the level of PLN 15-20 billion," the deputy minister clarified.
