Losses of personnel of the russian troops on May 22 increased by 1,330 to 497,700 people; Ukrainian defenders also destroyed 11 tanks, 27 armored fighting vehicles, and 40 artillery systems of the enemy.
This follows from a statement by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine posted on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Thus, the enemy lost 11 tanks (total – 7,622), 27 armored combat vehicles (total – 14,748), 40 artillery systems (total – 12,860), 1 anti-aircraft defense (total – 813), 71 units of automobile equipment and tank trucks (total - 17,513), 4 units of special equipment (total - 2,094), 45 drones (total - 10,391), 1 cruise missile (total - 2,209) and 1 aircraft (total 355).
Since the beginning of the war, the enemy has also lost 1,077 units of jet artillery, 326 helicopters, 27 ships and 1 submarine.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on May 21, russia lost 1,300 soldiers, 6 tanks, 22 armored vehicles, and 41 artillery systems.
