Russia takes 2 warships into the Black Sea - Navy

As of 7 a.m. on Thursday, May 23, there were two warships in the Black Sea; there were no russian warships in the Sea of Azov.

This follows from a statement by the command of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) posted on Telegram, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

"There are two enemy ships in the Black Sea; there are no enemy ships in the Sea of Azov; in the Mediterranean Sea – one enemy ship, which is a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to eight missiles," the message reads.

to the Sea of Azov – ten ships, of which four were moving from the Bosphorus Strait; to the Black Sea - seven ships, of which three continued their movement in the direction of the Bosphorus Strait.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, there were no russian warships in the Black and Azov Seas on May 18.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the defeat by the Defense Forces of Ukraine on the night of May 19 in Sevastopol of the russian missile ship Tsyklon.

Previously, Pletenchuk noted that if the destruction of the russian ship Tsyklon is confirmed, it will mean that there are no more Kalibr cruise missile carriers left in the occupied Crimea.
