The losses of personnel of russian troops for May 16 increased by 1,410 to 489,870 people, and the Ukrainian defenders last day destroyed 18 tanks, 14 armored fighting vehicles and 38 artillery systems.

This is stated in the message of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrainian News agency reports.

So, the enemy lost 18 tanks per day (total - 7,547), 14 armored fighting vehicles (total - 14,552), 38 artillery systems (total - 12,603), 56 vehicles and tankers (total - 17,104), 7 units of special equipment (total - 2,062), 2 air defense equipment (total - 798), 45 drones (total - 10,073) 1 rocket artillery unit (total - 1,071), 2 aircraft (total - 353) and 1 helicopter (total - 326).

Since the beginning of the war, the enemy has also lost 26 ships/boats, 1 submarine and 2,200 cruise missiles.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the losses of personnel of russian troops for May 15 increased by 1,520 to 488,460 people, equipment - by 19 tanks, 30 armored vehicles and 27 artillery systems.
