On Friday, May 17, for most of the day, a significant shortage of electricity will remain in the power system.
The press service of the Ukrenergo national energy company announced this, Ukrainian News agency reports.
According to the report, the Ukrenergo dispatch center informed oblenergos in each region of consumption limits.
At the same time, on May 17, from 12 a.m. to 8 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m., schedules of hourly outages are in effect in all regions of Ukraine.
On May 16, emergency electricity supply to Ukraine from 12 a.m. to 1 a.m. and from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. from the power systems of Romania, Poland, Slovakia was activated to overcome the shortage in the power system at the request of Ukrenergo.
On Friday, during the day, it is planned to import electricity from Romania, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Moldova with a total volume of 22,489 MWh, with a maximum capacity of up to 1,700 MW in individual hours.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on May 16, schedules of hourly power outages were in effect in all regions of Ukraine from 12 a.m.
