On Friday, May 10, at the request of Ukraine, an emergency supply of electricity was carried out from Poland, Romania and Slovakia, while the involvement of emergency aid is also expected during the hours of the evening peak of electricity consumption.

This was announced by the Ministry of Energy, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Last day, the needs of consumers were covered by own generation, commercial imports and emergency aid from the power systems of Poland, Romania and Slovakia.

The total volume of emergency supply was about 3% of the daily electricity consumption.

Also, during the daytime hours, at the request of Poland, Ukraine received surplus electricity in an emergency manner.

"Due to network restrictions on the lines of the transmission system operator, power outage schedules are in effect for all consumers in the Kharkiv Region and for industry - in Kryvyi Rih. From 06:00 p.m. Thursday to 07:00 a.m. Friday in all regions, except for the Kherson Region, restrictions of industrial consumers were applied. At the same time, the electricity supply to household consumers was not limited," the message says.

Import of electricity in the amount of 13,904 MWh is forecast for the current day.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, overnight into May 8, russian invaders attacked energy infrastructure in six regions of Ukraine.
