Italian Defense Minister arrives in Kyiv on official visit
Today, January 16, Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto has arrived in Ukraine on an official visit.
This is indicated in a statement by the Italian Embassy in Ukraine.
Thus, the Italian Embassy in Ukraine reported that Minister Crosetto will hold a number of institutional meetings in Kyiv.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer also arrived in Kyiv today to sign an agreement on a 100-year partnership.
It was also reported that the Ukrainian Defense Ministry expressed a desire to purchase air defense equipment from Italy for the proceeds from frozen russian assets.
In addition, according to media reports, France and Britain are discussing sending a peacekeeping mission to Ukraine.
Earlier, Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine supports the idea of deploying military contingents of partners.
