On April 10, a total of 78 combat clashes took place at the front; the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) repelled most of the enemy attacks on the Bakhmut (29) and Novopavlivsk (26) Axes.
This follows from a statement by the General Staff of the AFU posted on its Facebook page, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Over the past 24 hours, russian invaders have conducted 54 missile- and 126 airstrikes and fired 95 rockets at the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas using MLRSes.
As a result of russian terrorist attacks, there are dead and wounded among the civilian population.
A number of high-rise buildings and other objects of civil infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.
During the day, 78 combat clashes took place at the front.
The enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) operations on the Kupiyansk and Lyman Axes.
On the Bakhmut Axis, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 29 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Bilohorivka in the Luhansk Region; Vyimka, Rozdolivka, Klishchiyivka, Verkhniokamiyanske, and Ivanivske in the Donetsk Region, where the enemy tried to improve the tactical position with the support of aviation.
At the Avdiyivka Axis, the AFU repulsed seven attacks in the areas of Novokalynove, Umanske, Pervomaiske, and Netayilove settlements in the Donetsk Region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, tried to knock out Ukrainian units from the occupied borders.
On the Novopavlivsk Axis, the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Novomykhailivka, and Urozhaine settlements, where the invaders, with the support of aviation, tried 26 times to break through the defenses of the Ukrainian troops.
On the Orikhiv Axis, russian troops unsuccessfully attacked the positions of the Defense Forces five times in the area of Staromayorske in the Donetsk Region and Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia Region.
On the Kherson Axis, the occupiers are trying to knock out the Ukrainian units from the bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnieper River; during the past day, the enemy has made seven unsuccessful attacks on the positions of the Ukrainian troops here.
On April 11, the aviation of the Defense Forces struck 12 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment and one anti-aircraft missile complex of the enemy.
Units of missile forces hit one anti-aircraft defense, one EW station, and two areas of concentration of enemy personnel.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on April 10, a total of 55 combat clashes took place at the front, and the AFU repelled most of the enemy attacks on the Bakhmut (29) and Novopavlivka (28) Axes.
