In March 2024, the sales of new passenger cars increased by 50% year over year to 6,700.
This follows from a statement by the Ukravtoprom association, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Among new passenger cars in February, Toyota cars were in the greatest demand – 1,021 registered cars.
Renault cars are in second place (955 registered cars), Skoda cars are in third place (452 cars), Volkswagen cars are in fourth place (444 cars), and BMW are fifth (381 cars).
The best-selling car in March was the Renault Duster (920 cars sold).
Since the beginning of the year, 16,600 new cars were registered in Ukraine, which is 48% more than in the same period last year.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in 2023, the sales of new cars increased by 60.6% year over year to almost 61,000 units.
