67 clashes with occupiers occur over day. General Staff tells about situation on all axes

During the day, March 19, 67 combat clashes of the Defense Forces with the russian occupation army were recorded.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this in its evening operational update on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

In total, the enemy launched 3 missile and 62 air strikes, carried out 64 attacks from multiple rocket launchers on the positions of our troops and settlements. As a result of russian terrorist attacks, there are killed and wounded among the civilian population. Multi-storey and private houses were destroyed and damaged.

On the Volyn and Polissia axes, the operational situation is without significant changes. No signs of the formation of offensive groups of the enemy were found.

On the Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna axes, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts sabotage and reconnaissance activities, attacks settlements from the territory of the aggressor country of the russian federation, increases the density of mine-explosive barriers along the state border of Ukraine. The enemy inflicted air strikes in the areas of the settlements of Lukashivka, Bilopillia, Sumy Region, Kozacha Lopan and Izbytske, Kharkiv Region. More than 20 settlements were under artillery and mortar attacks of the enemy, among them Kliusy, Prohres, Hremiach, Chernihiv Region; Manukhivka, Myropillia, Ponomarenky, Sumy Region; Hatyshche, Vovchansk, Bochkove, Budarky, Ambarne, Kharkiv Region.

On the Kupiansk axis, the enemy carried out 3 unsuccessful assaults on the positions of the Defense Forces in the area of ​ ​ the settlement of Synkivka, Kharkiv Region. More than 10 settlements were under artillery and mortar fire, in particular Dvorichna, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, Berestove, Kharkiv Region.

On the Lyman axis, our soldiers repelled 8 enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Terny, Donetsk Region and Bilohorivka, Luhansk Region, where the enemy tried to break through the defenses of our troops. It carried out air strikes in the areas of the settlements of Bilohorivka, Luhansk Region, Rozdolivka, Vesele, Donetsk Region and Serebrianske forestry. More than 15 settlements suffered from artillery and mortar attacks, among them Nevske, Bilohorivka, Luhansk Region; Torske, Verkhniokamianske, Spirne and Rozdolivka, Donetsk Region.

On the Bakhmut axis, our soldiers repelled 6 enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Predtechyne, Klishchiivka, Bila Hora, Donetsk Region. The enemy launched an air strike in the area of ​ ​ the village of Kostiantynivka, Donetsk Region. About 10 settlements were under artillery and mortar fire, in particular Mykolaivka, Vasiukivka, Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Niu York, Donetsk Region.

On the Avdiivka axis, our defenders repelled 11 enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Berdychi, Orlivka, Tonenke, Pervomaiske, Nevelske, Donetsk Region. The enemy launched air strikes in the areas of the settlements of Ocheretyne and Tonenke, Donetsk Region. About 20 settlements were under artillery and mortar attacks, including Prohres, Vovche, Zhelanne, Myrnohrad, Novohrodivka, Umanske, Donetsk Region.

On the Novopavlivka axis, the Defense Forces continue to deter the enemy in the areas of the settlements of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Novomykhailivka, Vodiane, Urozhaine, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, tried 18 times to break through the defenses of our troops. The enemy launched air strikes in the areas of the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Pobieda and Novomykhailivka. About 20 settlements were under artillery and mortar fire of the invaders, among them Krasnohorivka, Berestky, Antonivka, Katerynivka and Blahodatne, Donetsk Region.

On the Orikhove axis, the enemy attacked the positions of our defenders in the area of Staromaiorske,

Donetsk Region 4 times, with the support of aviation. About 15 settlements were under artillery and mortar attacks, among them Malynivka, Huliaipole, Mala Tokmachka, Novoandriivka and Huliaipilske, Zaporizhzhia Region.

On the Kherson axis, during the day, the enemy carried out 1 attack on the positions of our troops on the left bank of the Dnieper. The enemy launched air strikes in the area of ​ ​ the village of Antonivka, Kherson Region. More than 10 settlements were under artillery and mortar attacks, including Lvove, Tiahynka, Ivanivka, Novotiahynka, Tokarivka, Kherson Region.

During the day, the air force of the Defense Forces struck at 6 areas of ​ ​ concentration of enemy personnel, weapons and military equipment.

Units of missile forces hit 2 ammunition depots and one enemy EW unit.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, during the last day, March 18, the Ukrainian military destroyed another 840 russian militants. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, russia has suffered about 432,390 casualties.
