During the past day, March 16, the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated another 1,160 russian invaders, 11 tanks and 28 artillery systems.
This is stated in the message of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.
Thus, the total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022 to March 17, 2024 approximately amounted to:
- personnel - about 430,740 (+1,160) persons;
- tanks - 6,790 (+11) units;
- armored combat vehicles - 12,997 (+24) units;
- artillery systems - 10,634 (+28) units;
- MLRS - 1,017 (+0) units;
- air defense systems - 720 (+1) units;
- aircraft - 347 (+0) units;
- helicopters - 325 (+0) units;
- UAVs of operational-tactical level - 8,272 (+4);
- cruise missiles - 1,922 (+0);
- ships/boats - 26 (+0) units;
- submarines - 1 (+0) unit;
- automotive equipment and tank trucks - 14,073 (+49) units;
- special equipment - 1,723 (+11).

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, 50 combat clashes were recorded on the front during the day on March 16. In general, the enemy launched 1 missile and 43 air strikes, carried out 58 attacks from rocket salvo systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas.
