Russia spreading fakes about ‘large-scale offensive’ in South to pressure local residents - South Operational Command

The russian federation spreads fake reports about its attack on Kherson and the Mykolaiv Region, as well as that Ukraine allegedly evacuates civil servants from a number of southern cities that appear to be untrue.

The head of the Joint Coordination Press Center of the Southern Defense Forces Natalia Humeniuk announced this, Channel 24 reports.

According to her, the propaganda rhetoric of the russians is pre-election. It is aimed at the population of the temporarily occupied territories, who does not want to join the circus with quasi-elections. In this way, the enemy is informatively trying to put pressure on people, said Humeniuk.

She noted that in this way the occupiers show people that they will still have to live with the authorities who will allegedly be "elected" at the March 17 pseudo-elections. In addition, this is how they try to compensate for their failures at the front.

"About what offensive on the right bank (Kherson Region - Ed.) can we say if they cannot overcome the bridgehead? They continue to storm it on the left bank, having an extraordinary advantage in the number and quality of weapons and personnel. But the assaults are constantly ended by defeat," Humeniuk explained.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the russian occupiers increased terror in the occupied Ukrainian territories, using technology - they began to resort to patrolling drones and installing metal fences in order to keep people under video cameras.
