During the day, January 25, there were 65 combat clashes between the Defense Forces and the russian invaders. The operational situation in the east and south of Ukraine remains difficult.

The enemy launched 2 missile and 18 air strikes, carried out 49 attacks from multiple rocket launchers on the positions of our troops and settlements. As a result of russian terrorist attacks, there are killed and wounded among the civilian population. Private residences and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.
On the Volyn and Polissia axes, the operational situation is without significant changes. No signs of the formation of offensive groups were found. Certain units of the Armed Forces of Belarus perform tasks in the areas bordering with Ukraine.
On the Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna axes, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts sabotage and reconnaissance activities, attacks settlements from the territory of the russian federation, increases the density of mine-explosive barriers along the state border of Ukraine. The enemy launched an air strike in the area of Komisarove of the Kharkiv Region. More than 25 settlements were under artillery and mortar attacks of the enemy, among them Znob-Trubchevska, Marchykhyna Buda, Zarutske, Pavlivka, Zapsillia, Novodmytrivka, Popivka, Sumy Region; Kozacha Lopan, Vovchansk, Vovchanski Khutory, Budarky, Kharkiv Region.
On the Kupiansk axis, our defenders repelled 5 attacks near Synkivka, Kharkiv Region and Stelmakhivka, Luhansk Region, where the enemy tried to break through the defenses of our troops. More than 10 settlements were under artillery and mortar fire, in particular Dvorichna, Synkivka, Ivanivka, Berestove, Kharkiv Region.
On the Lyman axis, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 2 attacks by invaders near Torske, Donetsk Region, and 2 more attacks near Makiivka, Luhansk Region. The enemy launched air strikes in the areas of Serebrianske forestry in the Luhansk Region, Terny and Rozdolivka in the Donetsk Region. More than 10 settlements suffered from enemy artillery and mortar attacks, including Nevske, Luhansk Region and Terny, Torske, Spirne, Rozdolivka, Donetsk Region.
On the Bakhmut axis, the defense forces repelled 7 attacks near Bohdanivka, Ivanivske and Andriivka, Donetsk Region, where the enemy unsuccessfully tried to improve the tactical position. The enemy launched an air strike in the area of Druzhkivka, Donetsk Region. About 10 settlements were under artillery and mortar fire, in particular Bohdanivka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, Donetsk Region.
On the Avdiivka axis, our defenders repelled 5 attacks near Novobakhmutivka, Avdiivka and 4 more attacks in the areas of Pervomaiske and Nevelske, Donetsk Region, where the enemy unsuccessfully tried to break through the defenses of our troops. The enemy also launched an air strike in the area of Avdiivka, Donetsk Region. About 10 settlements were under artillery and mortar attacks of the enemy, among them Novokalynove, Stepove, Avdiivka, Sievierne, Donetsk Region.
On the Mariinka axis, the Defense Forces continue to deter the enemy near Heorhiivka, Pobieda and Novomykhailivka, Donetsk Region. Here the enemy 20 times unsuccessfully tried to improve the tactical position. The enemy also launched air strikes in the areas of Heorhiivka, Novomykhailivka, Kostiantynivka, Donetsk Region. It fired artillery and mortars at the settlements of Heorhiivka, Pobieda, Novomykhailivka, Paraskoviivka.
On the Shakhtarsk axis, our defenders repelled 6 attacks by the invaders southeast of Vodiane, Zolota Nyva and west of the Staromaiorske, Donetsk Region. More than 10 settlements suffered artillery and mortar attacks, in particular Vodiane, Vuhledar, Urozhaine, Staromaiorske, Donetsk Region.
On the Zaporizhzhia axis, our defenders repelled 3 enemy attacks southeast of Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia Region. More than 15 settlements were under artillery and mortar attacks, including Malynivka, Chervone, Bilohiria, Mala Tokmachka, Robotyne, Piatykhatky, Zaporizhzhia Region.
In the area of responsibility of the Odesa Operational and Strategic Troops Group on the Kherson axis, the enemy launched an air strike in the area of the village of Stavky, Mykolaiv Region. Under the artillery and mortar fire of the invaders were such settlements of the Kherson Region as Lvove, Tiahynka, Ivanivka.
The enemy does not refuse the intention to knock out our units from the bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnieper. So, during the day, the enemy carried out 6 unsuccessful assaults on the positions of Ukrainian troops.
During the day, units of missile forces attacked 1 area of concentration of enemy personnel.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, as of the morning of Thursday, January 25, russia's losses in the war in Ukraine increased to 950 occupiers, the total number of losses of the russian army since the invasion began is 379,610 troops. In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out successful attacks, which resulted in the destruction of 30 tanks, 42 armored fighting vehicles and 59 artillery systems.
