Russia takes Kalibr missile carrier to Black Sea

Russia has put ten of its ships on combat duty in the Black Sea, including a missile carrier equipped with eight Kalibr missiles.

This was reported by the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on January 15.

It is also noted that there is one russian ship each in the Sea of Azov and the Mediterranean Sea, none of which is a missile carrier.

It is noted that russia continues to violate the 1974 International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) by disabling automatic identification systems (AIS).

We will remind you that one russian ship without Kalibr cruise missiles was on combat duty in the Black Sea yesterday.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the aggressor state of the russian federation will open a permanent base of the Navy in Abkhazia as early as 2024, the secretary of the Security Council of the unrecognized republic, Sergey Shamba, said.
