In particular, prices for food products and non-alcoholic beverages in 2023 increased by 4.0% (for December increased by 1.9%), for clothing and footwear - decreased by 6.3% (for December decreased by 3.4%), for housing and communal services - increased by 12.8% (for December decreased by 0.1%), for health services - increased by 8.7% (for December increased by 1.0%), for education - increased by 12.8% (for December increased by 0.1%).
Compared to December 2022, consumer prices rose by 12.9% in December 2023.
In December 2023, the core consumer price index made 0.0%.
In 2023, the core consumer price index increased by 4.9%.
Core inflation is a sub-index of the consumer price index.
The core CPI (core inflation) is a part of inflation that shows the dynamics of free prices without taking into account items whose prices are affected by administrative and seasonal factors.
