Russia withdraws ships from Black and Azov Seas

The russian fleet withdrew warships from the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov, leaving two missile-carrying ships on duty in the Mediterranean Sea.

This follows from a statement by the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

"As of 8 a.m., December 26, 2023, there are no enemy ships in the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov; in the Mediterranean Sea, there are four enemy ships, including two carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles, a total salvo of up to 16 missiles," the message reads.

It is noted that during the day, in the interests of russia, passage through the Kerch Strait was carried out: in the Sea of Azov - six vessels, of which three vessels moved from the Bosphorus Strait; in the Black Sea - 10 ships, three of which continued their movement in the direction of the Bosphorus Strait.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the AFU destroyed the large landing ship Novocherkask in the port of occupied Feodosia, Crimea.

The Air Force mocked russian fakes about "downed F-16 planes."
