In November 2023, the total trading volume on the PFTS stock exchange amounted to UAH 35.7 billion (82% of the level of October 2023) or 64% of the total trading volume by securities trading organizers in Ukraine.
The PFTS stock exchange announced this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
In January-November 2023, the total volume of trading on PFTS amounted to UAH 292.2 billion (380% of the level of the same period in 2022), which is equal to 63% of the total volume of trading of organizers of securities trading in Ukraine.
In the trading structure for November, the share of state bonds was 95.16 (UAH 33.9 billion), corporate bonds - 4.1% (UAH 1.5 billion), bonds of a foreign state - 0.7% (UAH 0.2 billion), shares - 0.04% (UAH 14.5 million).
8% of transactions were concluded in the "application market," 83% of transactions were concluded in the "quotation market" (including address transactions), 7% of transactions were concluded in repo and auctions for the primary placement of securities modes, and 2% of transactions were concluded in the auction mode.
In November 2023, 43 bidders at PFTS entered into transactions with 49 issues of securities (government domestic loan bonds - 34, government foreign loan bonds - 2, corporate bonds of Ukrainian issuers - 7, bonds of a foreign state - 4, shares of Ukrainian issuers - 2).
In January-November of this year, 49 bidders entered into agreements with 108 issues of securities (government domestic loan bonds - 65, government foreign loan bonds - 4, shares of foreign issuers - 1, shares of Ukrainian issuers - 7, corporate bonds of Ukrainian issuers - 15, bonds of a foreign state - 16).
In November, corporate bonds of ESKA CAPITAL LLC were placed at PFTS.
60,000 units of E series interest-bearing bonds of ESKA CAPITAL LLC were placed with a face value of UAH 1,000 with a maturity date of October 25, 2026.
The interest rate on bonds for all coupon periods is set at 24%, payment monthly.
Among the 34 issues of government bonds with which transactions were concluded in November, 1 issue was with a repayment date in 2023 (UAH 0.04 billion), 17 issues - with repayment dates in 2024 (UAH 16.1 billion), 8 issues - with repayment dates in 2025 (UAH 9.4 billion), 5 issues - with repayment dates in 2026 (UAH 4.9 billion), and 3 issues - with repayment dates in 2027 (UAH 3.5 billion).
Since July 26, the PFTS has begun trading in foreign currency denominated government domestic loan bonds.
In November 2023, the volume of exchange contracts with government bonds, executed in the currency of denomination, amounted to USD 93.3 million and EUR 4.9 million (10% of the total trading volume).
The PFTS stock exchange is one of the largest organizers of securities trading in Ukraine.
As of December 1, 2023, the number of PFTS stock exchange members admitted to trading was 51: 30 banks and 21 financial companies.
351 issues of securities were allowed to trade on PFTS, of which 118 issues of securities were on the exchange register.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in October 2023, the total trading volume on the PFTS stock exchange amounted to UAH 43.8 billion (117% of the level of September 2023) or 74% of the total trading volume by securities trading organizers in Ukraine.
Since 1997, the PFTS index has been the official index of Ukraine in the S&P Emerging Markets.
