This was reported by WirtschaftsWoche.

According to Rheinmetall CEO Armin Papperger, the company expects to sign an agreement with Ukraine on the production of Fuchs armored personnel carriers and Lynx infantry fighting vehicles by the beginning of next year.

Ukraine is said to rely heavily on financial and military support from the West, which has invested tens of billions of dollars in armaments since russia launched a full-scale invasion in February 2022.

In addition, Ukrainian government officials hope that cooperation with Western arms manufacturers will help revive the domestic defense industry.
