The enemy continues to conduct active offensive actions in the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia Operational and Strategic Troops Group (OSTG). In particular, the presence of former Wagner mercenaries is recorded in the Kupyansk axis, the occupiers have no success.
This was announced by the commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel-General Oleksandr Syrskyi.
"In the Kupyansk axis, units formed from former prisoners of storm, storm z, and storm v are used for assaults on Ukrainian positions. The presence of former so-called Wagner mercenaries who also join the assaults is recorded. The russian invaders did not have any success in this axis," the message says.
It is indicated that hostilities continue near Ivanivka, Synkivka, Kharkiv Region.
Meanwhile, in the Lyman axis, the enemy is trying to storm in the Serebriansk forest area. Actively uses bomber, fighter aircraft and fire support helicopters.
According to Syrskyi, in the Bakhmut axis, the russian occupiers do not stop trying to dislodge Ukrainian units from their positions in Klishchiyivka. In this direction, the russian occupiers intensified the use of kamikaze drones. It is noted that the enemy has no success in this axis.
Since the beginning of the month, the russian occupiers have lost 8,690 personnel, 1,002 units of military equipment were destroyed or damaged, including 109 tanks, 175 armored fighting vehicles and more than 200 artillery systems and mortars of various calibers.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, over the past day the Defense Forces repelled 30 attacks in the Avdiyivka and 10 attacks in the Bakhmut axes.
Earlier it was reported that the russian invaders have not given up their intention to occupy Kupyansk of the Kharkiv Region, and currently want to reach the borders of the village of Senkivka. Despite the loss, the enemy became more active, but there are no strategic successes.
Over the past week, Ukrainian defenders have destroyed 124 out of 126 enemy Shahed attack drones, as well as destroyed more than 5,000 occupiers.
