Overnight into Monday, November 27, the russian occupiers fired at one of the thermal power plants of the DTEK Energo company in the frontline region, causing serious damage to the company's equipment.
This follows from a statement by the company, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"Tonight, November 27, as a result of the shelling, one of the DTEK TPPs located in the frontline region was damaged. Fortunately, there were no casualties. As a result of the shelling, residents of one of the settlements near the station were left without electricity. The company's equipment was seriously damaged. After the shelling stopped, energy companies have started eliminating their consequences and are making every effort to restore energy supply as soon as possible," the message says.
According to the report, this is the fifth attack on one of the company's frontline TPPs in the past month.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, overnight into Thursday, November 16, russia fired at one of the TPPs of the DTEK Energo company.
