Over the past day, the Defense Forces repelled 30 attacks on the Avdiyivka and ten attacks on the Bakhmut Axes.
This follows from a statement from the morning summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on Facebook.
During the past day, 63 combat clashes took place. In total, the enemy launched one missile and 34 airstrikes and fired 51 rockets using MLRSes at the positions of our troops and populated areas.
As a result of russian terrorist attacks, there are wounded among the civilian population. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.
The Donetsk Region suffered airstrikes.
More than 100 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, and the Kherson Regions came under artillery fire.
In the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia Operational and Strategic Troops Group on the Kupiyansk Axis, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assaults in the areas of Synkivka, Kharkiv Region, and Novoselivske, Luhansk Region, where the Defense Forces repulsed seven attacks.
On the Lyman Axis, the enemy carried out assaults in the Serebrianske Forestry area without success.
On the Bakhmut Axis, our soldiers repelled ten enemy attacks near Bohdanivka, Klishchiyivka, Andriyivka, and the eastern part of the Sieverne, Donetsk Region. The defense forces of Ukraine continue their assault operations south of Bakhmut, Donetsk region, inflicting losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment and entrenching themselves at the achieved boundaries.
In the area of responsibility of the Tavria Operational and Strategic Troops Group on the Avdiyivka Axis, the enemy, with the support of aviation, does not stop trying to surround Avdiyivka. Our soldiers firmly hold the defense, inflicting significant losses on the occupiers. The enemy's offensive actions east of Novobakhmutivka, south of Novokalynove, Sieverne, Stepove, Avdiyivka, and Pervomaiske in the Donetsk Region were unsuccessful, where the defense forces repelled 30 attacks.
On the Mariyinka Axis, the enemy, with the support of aviation, conducted unsuccessful assaults in the Mariyinka and Novomykhailivka Districts of the Donetsk Region, where the Defense Forces repelled seven attacks.
On the Shakhtarsk Axis, the enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) actions.
In the Zaporizhzhia Axis, the occupiers conducted unsuccessful assaults west of Verbove, Zaporizhzhia Region.
At the same time, the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct an offensive operation on the Melitopol Axis, inflict losses in manpower and equipment on the occupying forces, and exhaust the enemy along the entire front line.
In the area of responsibility of the Odesa Operational and Strategic Troops Group on the Kherson Axis, our defenders will continue to maintain occupied positions on the left bank of the Dnieper, continue counter-battery fighting, and inflict fire damage on the enemy's rear.
During the past day, the Air Force of the Defense Forces made three strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment of the enemy.
Units of the missile forces hit two areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment, as well as the enemy's ammunition depot.
As earlier reported, the AFU are conducting an offensive on the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia Axes. Along the Kupiyansk-Svatove-Kreminna line, Ukrainian troops are succeeding in occupying a number of russian positions.
