Negative balance of foreign trade in goods worsens by USD 13,376.5 million to USD 19,402.3 million in 9M, 2023

In January-September 2023, the imports of goods exceeded exports by USD 19,402.3 million.

The State Statistics Service has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

In January-September 2023, the negative balance of trade in goods worsened by USD 13,376.5 million year over year (negative balance in January-September 2022 was USD 6,025.8 million).

In January-September 2023, Ukraine exported goods for USD 27,144.8 million, down 17.8% year over year.

In January-September 2023, Ukraine imported goods for USD 46,547.1 million, up 19.2% year over year.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in January-August 2023, the imports of goods exceeded exports by USD 16,666.8 million.

In 2022, the imports of goods exceeded exports by USD 11,124.7 million.

In 2022, the negative balance of trade in goods worsened by USD 6,353.9 million year over year (negative balance in 2021 was USD 4,770.8 million).
